TEN TRINITY SQUARE
Celebrating the Remaking
of an icon
Branding | Property
In the heart of London, the iconic Ten Trinity Square underwent a staggering ยฃ200 million renovation, a monumental task that demanded more than just construction – it required capturing over a century of unique history. Reignwood, the proud owner of this historical gem, sought to commemorate the transformation with a centenary book that not only honoured the past but also celebrated the meticulous restoration.
In the end, what emerged was not just a book, but a testament to the enduring spirit of Ten Trinity Square. It was a journey through time, a celebration of history as well as the unique partnership between Reignwood, Chรขteau Latour and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Reignwood’s vision and our agency’s dedication had given birth to a timeless tribute to Trinity Square, standing as a beacon of history in the heart of London.
Our designers collaborated to turn this historical mosaic into a captivating narrative. “Every page was completely different and had to be designed on merit,” notes Matt Rowland, Creative Director.
The book, entitled “Remaking of an Icon” not only chronicled the history but also delved into the thoughtful considerations behind every renovation decision. The book featured gold foiling, individual spot colours, spot UVs, and varnish throughout, elevating the storytelling with a touch of luxury. One of the significant challenges was weaving together disparate historical threads into a cohesive narrative. We drew inspiration from the elemental symbols adorning Ten Trinity Square’s walls – earth, fire, water, and air – these became the foundation for the book’s eight chapters.
From painstakingly retouching century-old images to researching the perfect finish, every element was meticulously curated. The result? A visual masterpiece that not only captures the essence of Ten Trinity Square, but stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of history, modernity, and thoughtful design. In the words of the owners,“This book isn’t just a reflection of our property; it’s a celebration of our commitment to history and sustainability.”
“Some of the images that we wanted to include in the book were so small and aged. We even received a century-old invitation that we had to carefully untie and scan! Every single image underwent retouching to bring it up to a standard worthy of inclusion in the book.”
